IEEE Jayamukhi Student Branch Jayamukhi IEEE Student branch was formed on 2nd December, 2005 and is one of the vibrant student branches in Hyderabad Section. Over the years the strength of the SB has grown steadily and currently the membership stands close to 90. This membership is spread across various sectors and is a nice blend of industry, Academia and Research organizations . JITS IEEE SB has one affinity group. The SB carry out focussed activities in respective area by way of conducting technical talks under DLT, Seminars, Tutorials, Workshops...etc.As a part of the affinity group viz. The graduate of the last Decade (GOLD) and Women in Engineering(WIE) also carry out related activities. WIE SBAG In the year 2011 the Women In Engineering(WIE) student branch affinity group(SBAG) was formed in jayamukhi institute of technological sciences.It was inaugurated by Ms.MadhumitaChakravarthi, Chairman(2011), WIE Affinity group, IEEE Hyderabad section.
About Abhignatha IEEE Abhignatha(A National level Technical fest) is the prestigious annual event of the IEEE Jayamukhi Student branch that is held since 2005. IEEE Abhignatha is not only to give richness in management skills, communication skills but also to motivate students in the fields of Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering among other areas of discipline of the IEEE. There is a growing trend around the world for engineering to address issues of human development. IEEE Abhignatha brings together a diverse community of engineers in a quest for technologically appropriate, environmentally sustainable, socially acceptable and economically sound solutions.
